Tour
Each January, the Pegs contribute a week and a
half of their winter vacation to traveling throughout New York, singing at
Elementary through High Schools, Nursing Homes and Assisted Living
Facilities, hospitals, etc. Their performances typically consist of a
thirty to forty-five minute set, customized to best suit the venue's
specific audience. Additionally, the Pegs offer to schools the option
of a workshop, in which they explain the college a cappella community and
how the group functions, demonstrate a mock audition, and teach the students
one of their arrangements.
For the Pegs, this benefits hugely as
a fund-raising and promoting opportunity, but their audience gains much
more, in both education and entertainment! Planning for tour is always
